Process

You will have to fill out this document with the required data and send it back to us. You will get all the information about the precise process after the event

Criteria

Below we have the criteria that will be used to see if you are eligible for partial travel grants, so in general, if you will get them or not. The criteria below are mandatory and there is no way around them so if something is not fulfilled we can't grant you any reimbursement

Criteria:

• Sensible travel planning and bookings
• Submission of a complete expense report (Google Maps Screenshot including kilometers traveled if you traveled by car)
• Project submission at START Hack 2025
• Submitting your filled-out reimbursement form within 30 days of receiving the acceptance email

Amount

We are going to reimburse flights, train rides as well as car rides. The amount is based on the distance travelled and the estimated cost of travel. Please note that we won't reimburse the full price of the journey, as we wanted as many people as possible to profit from the partial travel grants and we have a limited budget. You will receive between 50-500.- of partial travel grants. We will evaluate the Reimbursement by using common sense, which means, for example, that we will not reimburse any first-class or business-class flights.

The amount reimbursed will be around these numbers:

Switzerland: 70-80%

Europe: 50-70%

Outside of Europe: 20-30%
